These are the real “Carrie” and “Grace” from Laura Ingalls Wilder’s “Little House” series. There isn’t really much information available about either of them. While they do in fact each deserve their own separate entries here, I would be hard pressed to come up with a full entry based on the information available to me.

Carrie was born on Aug. 3, 1870, and passed away on Jun. 2, 1946.

Grace was born on May 23, 1877 and passed away on Nov. 10, 1941.

Carrie is buried in the DeSmet Cemetary with the rest of her family, in DeSmet, South Dakota. There is no information available to me about the burial location of Grace.
