Lucy Maud Montgomery, also known as “Mrs. Ewan Macdonald”, was an author of children’s stories. Most notably her series that began with the book “Anne of Green Gables” was a favorite, and still is, of little girls from every generation since it was written. All of her books are set on or around her beloved Prince Edward Island, where she lived and is now buried. Her grave is in Cavendish Community Cemetery, Cavendish, Prince Edward Island, Canada.
