You can’t think of the old west or gunfighters without the name “Wyatt Earp” coming to mind. Born in Monmouth Illinois and raised on a farm in Iowa, he grew up to become one of the most famous lawmen of the untamed west. Before becoming a noted lawman, he held jobs as a stagecoach driver, then a buffalo hunter… yeah, really. In Witchita Kansas he began a career in law as a deputy, and the rest is history.

Wyatt Earp is buried in the Hills of Eternity Memorial Park in Colma, San Mateo county, California.
