Gypsy Rose Lee, orRose Louise Hovick, was not just a renowned stripper, but an actress with twelve movies and a televisio9n show to her credit. Unlike modern strippers who seem to think their sexual appeal is all makeup and thigh high boots, Gypsy Rose Lee did her acts with a touch of class. Later, she even became an author, and her last work, her autobiography, was quite a success. She is buried in Inglewood Park Cemetery in Los Angeles California in Pinecrest Plot, Lot 1087, Grave 8.
