Caroline H. Knapp was an author whose books detailing her victory over both alcoholism and anorexia were very well accepted. Many parents used her books to help them find telltale signs in their children, such as overuse of weight loss pills or behavioral issues that supported one or both conditions. Caroline H. Knapp is buried in Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge Massachusetts.
